Bruce Weber Inspections
Primary Services Provided:
General Home Inspection: This inspection gives the client an overall picture of the home, starting with the items that are of major concern and need attention right away, like a water heater that doesn’t work or a roof that leaks. Then in the body of the report are items that are less significant but are worth noting like a sink that doesn’t drain properly or a door that won’t close correctly. The items we don’t report are small things like “carpet needs cleaning” or other cosmetic issues. Each item mentioned has a corresponding picture for clarity in understanding.
4-Point Inspections: This inspection is done primarily at the request of the insurance company that may be issuing the home owners insurance. The insurance companies are interested in the condition of 4 major areas of the home, these are: 1. The roof. 2.The heating and air conditioning system. 3. The Electrical System, and, 4. The Plumbing system. Our inspections follow the standards as set forth by the insurance to review and report on these systems.
Wind Mitigation Inspection: This inspection examines the degree to which a home will handle high wind conditions. Areas that are examined and recorded include things like what shape is the roof, how is it attached, is there high impact glass in the windows, is the garage door reinforced? Depending on results you may be entitled to asignificant discount in your home owners insurance.
